Diamonds
Weir & Sons are dedicated to providing our customers with excellent quality, conflict free diamonds only. We adhere to the Kimberly Process, which is an initiative between industry, society and governments which is committed to reducing the flow of conflict diamonds* from the supply chain worldwide. We insist that all our suppliers adhere to the Kimberly Process and that this is documented in their supply policies. The Kimberly Process (KP) has created a traceable and tamper-proof system for the distribution of diamonds which can be certified as conflict-free. Any shipment which is void of legitimate KP adherent certification will be rejected from the receiving body, or impounded. *Conflict Diamonds are defined as diamonds which are used to finance war against legitimate governments around the world.
