Casio Compact G-SHOCK GA-2100 Series | Vibrant Monochromatic Colours
TOKYO, 11th January 2024 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has announced the launch of new G-SHOCK shock-resistant watches. The three new compact GMA-P2100 timepieces introduce vibrant monochromatic colours to the 2100 line, which is well-loved for its iconic octagonal bezel.
In recent years, Casio has been shrinking the size of popular G-SHOCK watches to create a wider range of compact models suitable for all genders. The new GMA-P2100 watches retain the octagonal bezel and minimalist face design that the 2100 line is known for, but in smaller sizes and bright colours that are shock-resistant and easy to wear.
The case of the new watches is 2.7 mm slimmer than the size of conventional GMA-S2100 models. The band length has also been reduced by around 10 mm to ensure they are comfortable for those with smaller wrists. The watches are available in vibrant turquoise blue, bright pink, and a white monochrome colour scheme. Different components such as the dial, index marks, and hands are designed in light and dark shades of the same colour to give the face a stylish yet easy-to-read appearance. The bezel and band are made from bio-based resin, a material aimed at reducing environmental impact.
Casio plans to expand its range of gender-neutral G-SHOCK watches, ensuring that they are easy to wear for their diverse fan base.
Collaboration watches featuring K-POP Girl Group ITZY
This collaboration between G-SHOCK and brand ambassador ITZY delivers a cool, fashionable monochromatic look in several different colours inspired by all members shining personalities. These watches are based on the GMA-P2100, a timepiece that is smaller than both the regular size GA-2100 and the more compact GMA-S2100, and they all feature minimalist designs.
ITZY is a global group from JYP Entertainment, which also gave the world TWICE, NiziU and NMIXX. Since ITZY’s February 2019 debut, the group has enjoyed tremendous support from a global fanbase and particularly from teenage girls and women in their twenties in Asian countries.
Attention to Materials: Bio-Based Resin
Primary resin components found in the bezel and band are crafted from bio-based resin. Manufactured using sustainable organic sources, this substance aims to minimise the ecological footprint.
Compact Size
The GMA-S2100, already a smaller version of the GA-2100, is now even more compact. The length of the band has also been adjusted for easier wearability, resizing this timepiece to comfortably fit even slimmer wrists.

Vibrant Monochromatic Colour Schemes
From the case to the band to the watch face, the entire watch is finished in a vibrant monochromatic colour scheme. Light and dark shades of the same colour are used for different components, including the dial, index marks, and hands, to give the streamlined face without inset dials a look that is both highly expressive and easy to read.
